Re: nice little coues
Depends on which book your talking about. B&C is 110" or 115" I dont remember which, and P&Y is either 60-" 65" This one went 96 6/8" so having taken him with a rifle hes about 13 short of the 110 mark. One of these years I will get one with the bow. Almost had it done back in January, on one almost identical to this one. Caught him in the far front of his chest, and exited through his brisket. Never hit anything important. Followed the blood trail for about 250 yards, then lost it. He was seen about 2 weeks later with a nice little scar on his chest, but otherwise up and kicking very well. With any luck I will have another shot at him during the next season in Sept. Maybe he will be a nontypical this next time around, and hopefully be over the 100" mark as hes only a 3 year old right now. LOL.. I cant wait.
