As I recall you pratice out to a 100yds  or more. correct..

I do shoot out there a ways, 40-120 meters of pins on the primary bow and 30-110 meters on my back up. Then I have a 42# recurve that will work out to 30 yards. LOL... I use it for javalinas. Havent taken one with it yet but hopefully this fall. If I can get another tag.

are javy tags for archery draw or over the counter..

All the javy tags are draw only. But there have been thousands left over after the spring draws the last several years. Those will go first come first served. usually not a problem to get a tag.

The if part in the post your talking about has everything to do with being allowed to get another tag. :) got to love wives.
