Archery speed goat
Got this guy up in the northern part of the state. One arrow. last day of the hunt. His curiosity got him. He came into a decoy.

Not the biggest seen during the hunt, and not the first arrow launched, But the one that connected and here he is. Hoyt Turbo-tech 450grain Easton axis arrows Sonoran 3 blade broadhead 100 gr. 322fps @ 82lbs.. I love power and speed. LOL

Re: Archery speed goat
Gordy,

I dont know what brand it was, Borrowed it from my cousin. its one of the heavy plastic ones that folds out. ANd my poor partner ended up holding it up while in a crouch for about 8 minutes before he got close enough and in the right position to make the shot. By the time I got the shot off he was shaking like a leaf due to the cramps in his legs. Needless to say I cooked the back straps that night. LOL... Even went into town for some ice for the adult beverages after dinner. PArtners like that are hard to come by and even harder to keep. he is currentlty loading the moving truck , heading back for Oregon. Good thing is now I get to go to ORegon for blacktails one of these years.

Re: Archery speed goat
Hes moving to the Portland area, leaving this evening matter of fact. And no he did not even have a tag. However he did tag along on all my hunts last year. So he and his family have a full service guide here in AZ for each and every tag they draw. He trailed around with me on a turkey hunt, an archery elk hunt, the goat hunt, and my whitetail hunt. And several scouting trips in the middle of all those. Again partners like that are hard to find , and apparently even harder to keep around. They are way to motivated LOL..
